Little Girl has somehow learned about a place called Disney World where princesses live and little girls can go visit. When she asked me the other day if we could go, I explained that we would like to one day, but it’s far away.
“We could fly there on an airplane, Mommy!” she suggested.
“Honey, airplane tickets cost money, and we’ll need to buy a few of them so we can all go. We could drive there, but it would take a long time.”
“I have money. I’ll buy my ticket!” and she hurried to fetch her bank.
We counted up $4.73 in her bank, and I explained that plane tickets are usually over $100 each. So she immediately resolved to save her allowance for “a plane ticket to Disney World.”

We are going to try and take our daughter in two years. My SIL Stacy Hempill loves taking her family there.
Luckily for us Lucas still accepts it as fact when Mommy says she does not have any money. We are saving for our December trip as we speak. Just let me know if you need any help planning that magical trip in the future. I will steer you in the right directions!
