a chance encounter with old friend [in a waiting room]
a friend to call when I want to hide
waffle house therapy

sopping up tears with my sleeve during prayer
surprise date night
volunteer babysitters
this is the beautiful church
arms around the struggling
weeping with those who weep
love in a hopeless place

Hopeless place…oh, those places are so dark and hard. Been there. I feel for you in my heart. Prayers and love sent your way that you will feel His arms around you and know His peace today.
Thank you for sharing your heart in such a raw, beautiful way…I love the body of Christ, like you said “this is the beautiful church”…when one hurts, we hurt with you. So, just know you’re not alone.

I know that hopeless place, oh, so well. We see Amy’s neurologist and a neuropsychologist at the end of this month. I am not looking forward to it. She has been doing so well…I don’t want anything to shatter that illusion. Wishing I could take you out for breakfast and hug you in person, Joy!
